Process Modeling and Simulation

In the design layer business analysts can draw (or map) their processes along with all the activities’ attributes through Insight360 an easy and user-friendly graphical interface. The process steps are defined along with the number of personnel assigned to activities, the typical duration of each activity, the salaries of the personnel, etc… The designed process map also distinguishes between human activities and system activities. The processes are then simulated to run over a virtual period that can span months or even years. The results of the simulation are displayed in comparison with the goals and key performance indicators, thus clearly pinpointing where the process is weak and how it can be optimized.
